Hi! I’m Jennie. I’m the founder of College Everything.

Who am I?

I’m a graduate of Brown University.

I work in higher education.

And I’m a mom of three.

Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about the college admissions process and college life.

I created this site to share what I’ve learned with students and parents.

Why? Because I want to make the college experience less stressful for everyone.

Why should you take my advice?

I know what the Ivy League is like

As a graduate of Brown University, I know what it’s like to apply to and study at an elite university. I was an alumni interviewer for my alma mater for eighteen years. I’m very in touch with what colleges are looking for in applicants.

I’ve read so many college essays

As a professional editor, I’ve provided editing suggestions and final proofreading for a lot of college admissions essays and med school applications.

I’m a higher ed professional

I currently work in higher education. I’m aware of what’s going on behind the scenes at colleges and universities.

I’m a mom

Most importantly, I have three daughters.

Why do I care about your college experience?

I’ve always been fascinated by the fun of the college search and the complexity of the admissions process. (Weird, I know.)

I love imagining the possibilities for learning and personal growth that could happen at different universities.

I love being on college campuses and browsing course offerings. 

I don’t love the mysteries behind admissions decisions, high rejection rates, or the many ways college can be super stressful.

I bet you don’t either.

I want to help students attend a university or college that suits them academically, socially, and financially.

And I want to provide ideas, advice, and inspiration to help them make the most of college.
